Cyworld will resume its "Diary" function restoring all 1.1 billion articles left in your diary

Cyworld will resume its "Diary" function on the 1st of next month, restoring all 1.1 billion articles left in the diary by users in the past.
Cyworld succeeded in restoring all 1.1 billion diaries with FXGear last year and has been developing diary functions optimized for new apps.
As a result, the newly launched Cyworld Diary can record your daily life using new UX/UI optimized for mobile environments, and at the same time, you can use the renewed skins and stickers to decorate diaries. This is so-called Dakku(diary dress-up) activity that became famous in Korean society.
Cyworld Jet said, "It is expected to receive a lot of love by utilizing the original functions of the diary in the mobile environment."
The restored diary is uploaded to the folder name that the existing user put in the past, along with the title 'Memories',” they said. "It will be a lot of fun to read the memories of those days with a cringe-worthy heart."
They plan to start an event that gifts such as Acorns, custom mini-me, and your own fonts through a lottery. You can participate by releasing past posts in public. If you write more than one post in your diary for a week, you will also receive a diary sticker.

The release of 1.1 billion Cyworld diaries used to be said to open Pandora's Box in September. In Korea, expressing those embarrassing feelings when you are facing yourself in the past are called "hands and feets gotten quite wrinkled and is shrinking" or "blanket kicks in black history."

It's good that they're restoring the function, but I'm not sure if I want to read my old diary entries. I wonder if people will actually use this function every day. It could be fun to read old entries, but also embarrassing. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
