Naver announces a memory function for Clova Care Call, an AI service for seniors living alone, in order to make conversations more personal and engaging.
Naver announced that they are introducing a Memory function to Clova Care Call, an artificial intelligence (AI) call service for seniors living alone. This function will allow Clova Care Call to remember past conversations with the subject and use them for the next call. This is a great idea as it will help keep seniors engaged and active.
Naver announced on the 22nd that it has applied a "memory" function to remember past conversations exchanged with users and use them for the next call to Clova Care Call, an artificial intelligence (AI) call service for senior citizens living alone.
The advantage is that it is developed based on the ultra-large AI "Hyper Clova" so that AI can have natural conversations on various topics, not just checking the status.
Clova Care Call, equipped with a memory function, summarizes and records information on major items such as health, meals, and sleep that require continuous management during previous conversations with the subject.
At first glance, it seems like a simple function, but it requires high-level natural language processing technology to understand the context of conversation and generate natural expressions using memory information at an appropriate time, and Clova Care Call is the first time in Korea to implement memory-based conversation in a commercialized free talk AI service.
Clova Care Call was officially opened in May after a beta service period as a service where AI calls and talks to elderly people living alone who need care and checks their safety.
Jung Seok-geun, CEO of Naver Clova CIC, said, "As more and more people consistently use Clova Care Call, we have introduced a memory function so that you can feel deeper fun and comfort in conversations with Care Call."
Their plan is to increase the satisfaction of the conversation through more personalized conversations and continuous expressions of interest, while helping local governments with care by allowing them to continuously observe the condition of the elderly living alone.
It's a great idea! It's so important to keep seniors engaged and active, and this will help do that.
